Chris Ward

President & CEO | Chris Ward

Chris Ward is President and CEO of Heidelberg Materials North America. He has been with the company since 1996 and most recently served as President of the company’s Canada Region. Ward has also held management positions in Georgia, North Carolina and Texas. He graduated from the University of Missouri-Rolla with a degree in Mining Engineering.

Benedikt Zinn

Senior Vice President & CFO | Benedikt Zinn

Benedikt Zinn is Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Heidelberg Materials North America. He has been with the company since 2012 and has held a variety of senior management roles. Most recently, Zinn served as Vice President & General Manager, Materials – Pacific Northwest. Previously, he served as Vice President of Finance for the company’s South Region. Zinn graduated in Business Administration from the University of Mannheim in Germany where he also earned a doctorate degree in Economics.

President, Northwest Region | Oliver Patsch

Oliver Patsch is President of Heidelberg Materials North America's Northwest Region. He has been with the company since 2014 and has held various senior management positions at both country and global levels. Prior to his current role, Oliver served as General Manager for Heidelberg Materials Georgia. Oliver graduated with an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland and a PhD from INSEAD business school in France.

Alex Car

President, Northeast Region | Alex Car

Alex Car is President of Heidelberg Materials North America's Northeast Region. He has been with the company since 2016. Prior to his current role, Car served as Senior Vice President, Cement Sales for the North Region. Before joining the company, he was President & CEO of Essroc. Car holds a Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada, and also earned an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

SCOTT-DICKSON

President, Southeast Region | Scott Dickson

Scott Dickson is President of Heidelberg Materials North America's Southeast Region. He has been with the company since 1993. Prior to his current role, he served as Vice President and General Manager Southeast Aggregates. Dickson holds a BAS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and earned an Executive MBA from Simon Fraser University.

CHRIS-HOBBY

President, Southwest Region | Chris Hobby

Chris Hobby is President of Heidelberg Materials North America's Southwest Region. He has been with the company since 1995. Prior to his current role, he served as Senior Vice President and General Manager Materials for the company’s Northeast Region. Hobby received his Bachelor’s Degree from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo and his MBA from California State University, East Bay.

Toby Lee

President, Midwest Region | Toby Lee

Toby Lee is President of Heidelberg Materials North America's Midwest Region. He has been with the company since 2001 and has held a number of management positions in North America, including Senior Vice President & General Manager of Northeast Materials, Vice President & General Manager of the New York Materials business and a variety of operations management and continuous improvement roles. Lee holds an MBA from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Michigan Technological University.

Vice President, Government Affairs & Communications | David Perkins

David Perkins is Vice President of Government Affairs & Communications for Heidelberg Materials North America. Prior to joining the company, he served as President and CEO of the Texas Aggregates and Concrete Association (TACA) and previously served as Vice President – Environmental, Government and Public Affairs for Martin Marietta. Perkins holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Marketing from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Science Degree in Environmental Science from Texas Christian University.

Vice President, Human Resources | Ken Bouska

Ken Bouska is Vice President, Human Resouces for Heidelberg Materials North America. He has been with the company since 2001 and has held a variety of human resources roles. Most recently, Bouska served as the HR Director for the Southern US. Bouska was also the HR Director for Western Canada and the US Pacific Northwest. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Alberta.

Vice President & General Counsel | Carol Lowry

Carol Lowry is Vice President & General Counsel for Heidelberg Materials North America. Prior to joining the company, Lowry held the position of Vice President & General Counsel for Essroc. Previously she was Associate General Counsel at Carpenter Technology Corporation and also held attorney positions at FirstEnergy and Brouse McDowell. Lowry earned her J.D. degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in Cleveland and has a B.A. from Carlow University in Pittsburgh.

Vice President, Information Technology | Tony Wright

Tony Wright is Vice President of Information Technology for Heidelberg Materials North America. He has been with the company since 2006. Prior to his current role, he served as Head of the Global IT Service & Support Organization for Heidelberg Materials. Wright holds a diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Brunel Technical College in the U.K.

Thomas Kolbe

Senior Vice President, Competence Center Cement | Thomas Kolbe

Thomas Kolbe is Senior Vice President of the Competence Center Cement (CCC) North America. He has been with the company for more than 20 years. Over the course of his career, Thomas has held a variety of technical and operational management positions in Germany, Ukraine and Russia. He holds a degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Dortmund in Germany.

Senior Vice President, Global Competence Center Aggregates & Asphalt| Phil Redmond

Phil Redmond is the Senior Vice President, Global Competence Center Aggregates & Asphalt. Prior to accepting his current position with the company, Redmond served as Vice President of CCM for North America, a position he has held since November 1, 2018. Redmond has extensive experience in the aggregates and construction materials industry and has held a variety of general and senior management roles in the U.K. since joining the company in 1998, including Managing Director of Hanson Aggregates and Managing Director of Hanson Asphalt and Contracting.

Redmond is the immediate past President of The Institute of Quarrying. He studied Mineral Process Engineering at Sheffield, holds an MBA from the University of Glamorgan and completed the Advanced Management Program at Harvard Business School.

Francois Perrin is the Vice President of Strategy & Development for Heidelberg Materials North America. Prior to joining the company, Perrin served as Senior Vice President of Strategy & Development for Essroc. Perrin holds an Engineering degree fromEcole nationale Des Ponts et Chaussees and a Master’s degree from Collège des Ingénieurs.

Greg Ronczka

Vice President, Environment & Sustainability | Gregory Ronczka 

Gregory Ronczka is the Vice President of Environment & Sustainability for Heidelberg Materials North America. He has been with the company since 2017. Prior to his current position, Ronczka served as Director of Environmental Services. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geosciences from Pennsylvania State University and holds a Master of Public Health degree in Environmental and Occupational Health from the University of Pittsburgh.

Nathan Kimball

Vice President, Safety & Health | Nathan Kimball

Nathan Kimball is Vice President of Safety & Health for Heidelberg Materials North America. Kimball has been with the company since 2011 and previously served as the Environment, Health & Safety Director for Heidelberg Materials North America' North Region. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Health from Utah State University and received a Master’s degree from the College of Environmental Studies – Management & Administration from Antioch University.

Benjamin Zurita

Vice President, Procurement | Benjamin Zurita

Benjamin Zurita is Vice President of Procurement for Heidelberg Materials North America. Prior to joining the company, Zurita led domestic procurement for Primesource Building Products. Previously, he held a variety of procurement management positions with LafargeHolcim and also worked for Nestle CPW and Lucent Technologies. Zurita holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration and Operational Research from Warwick Business School in the United Kingdom and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Tec de Monterrey. He is also a Certified Professional in Supply Chain Management (CPSM) from the Institute of Supply Management (ISM).

Dan crouch

Vice President, Sales Operations | Dan Crouch

Dan Crouch is Vice President, Sales Operations, for Heidelberg Materials North America. He has been with the company since 2016. Dan has more than 25 years of experience in sales management and previously held positions at Acklands Grainger and Cintas Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of British Columbia.
