Lehigh Hanson is now Heidelberg Materials. In North America, Heidelberg Materials is a leading supplier of cement, aggregates, ready mixed concrete and asphalt with more than 450 locations and approximately 9,000 employees.
Most companies expand for two reasons: to extend their reach so they can serve more customers, and to extend their product line so they can create new options. At Heidelberg Materials North America, we've done both. Our affiliated companies enable us to take on practically any project in North America and to deliver a volume and variety of products that most of our competitors simply cannot match.
Over the years, the company has grown through a series of acquisitions and partnerships. We've been fortunate enough to acquire strategic assets across North America that have helped us expand our geographic reach and have enabled us to provide a broader spectrum of products and possibilities to the markets we serve.
SEFA
Heidelberg Materials acquired SEFA in May 2023 to extend its commitment to supplying more sustainable heavy building materials for customers. For over 40 years, SEFA has focused on providing a reliable supply of quality fly ash for the ready mix concrete industry. Throughout their history, they have also customized and added services that our utility or construction customers needed at the time. SEFA has recycled over 20 million tons of fly ash in the last 30 years, and the company is an integral part of some of the country’s most successful coal ash recycling programs. A large impact is cleaning up coal ash from ponds and removing it from the environment permanently.
Cindercrete Products LTD
Cindercrete LTD offers customers quality products and services for a variety of projects. With our locations in the Regina and Saskatoon area, Cindercrete is a Saskatchewan made manufacturer and distributor of masonry products, concrete landscape products, ready-mix concrete and bagged industrial cement products.
Parsons Creek Aggregates
Parsons Creek Aggregates is a joint venture by Graymont Western Canada Inc. and Lehigh Hanson. Both are leaders in the production of construction stone and limestone products throughout North America. We combine experience, stability, and a shared long term commitment to community as demonstrated by community participation and investment in the areas of health, education, the environment, and civic groups. Texas Lehigh
Texas Lehigh Cement Company, a joint venture with Eagle Materials, manufactures and markets four different types of construction cement, three API Spec Oil Well cements (Class A, Class C and Class H), and masonry cements for sale to its Texas and out-of-state customers. The company’s objective to be the highest quality, low-cost producer of cement products in Texas is matched by its desire to maintain a safe working environment for its many employees and an operation equal to today’s environmental requirements.
