The National Stone, Sand & Gravel Association (NSSGA) announced the recipients of the Environmental Excellence Awards, which recognizes operations that actively demonstrate a commitment to the exemplary use of environmental controls and systems. NSSGA awarded a total of nine Gold, 10 Silver and 63 Bronze Awards.

The award was presented during the first morning of NSSGA’s Legislative & Policy Forum in Washington, D.C. The top-scoring Gold award winner was revealed on stage during the ceremony, as Hanson Aggregates Harding Street Quarry of Lehigh Hanson, Inc. was recognized as the Platinum Award winner for Environmental Excellence.
