Heidelberg Materials is pleased to announce the selection of WSP as the Owner's Engineers for the Edmonton, Alberta Carbon Capture, Utilization, and Storage (CCUS) Project. This facility, slated to begin construction late next year, will be the cement industry’s first full-scale application of carbon capture.

By capturing and storing 1 million tonnes of CO2 emissions annually, Heidelberg Materials is one step closer to achieving their vision of producing the world’s first Net Zero Cement.
